I've found out that it's actually a remake of an older movie. I've never seen it, but I'm assuming the main character did not perform the Rock Bottom on anyone in the original.

The Rock is sort of stuck in a nebulous wrestling-movie limbo. He can't disassociate himself with being a wrestler, it would lose the wrestler audience, and it wouldn't make him better in the eyes of the average non-wrestling-fan or anti-wrestling fan. But, as long as he's The Rock he has to give the Rock Bottom to someone, whether it be an alien on Star Trek or whatever.

He's also set to play in Spy Hunter (wow, a wrestler-videogame movie about a game which didn't even have a main character. I'm stoked) I hear. I assume he's going to play the car, and run down the road tossing missles at people (occasionally stopping to Rock Bottom a Bentley)

The Rock seems to have a new movie again. It's supposedly based on a true story this time.. I wonder if the real guy gave a Rock Bottom to someone like the ads for this movie seem to indicate.
